Cartridge system
Our revolutionary safety concept
MT.DERM developed the first cartridge system that offers our customers absolute safety with regard to sterility. We integrated the needle and the needle cap into a disposable cartridge - the hygiene cartridge. By securely sealing it at the end with a membrane, we created a new form of protection against contamination for the handpiece. The risk of contaminated liquids or air flows is now eliminated. The consumer’s health is thereby ensured - a transmission of diseases can now not take place due to this new development.
Practical and user-friendly
The cartridge can now be easily ‘docked on’ to the handpiece with the aid of the bayonet cap. Various needle types can be easily exchanged or replaced. The procedure of exchanging the needle nozzle and the needle (as is common with the older, traditional devices) is dispensed with. Tiresome cleaning and autoclaving of the different parts of the handpiece is now a relict of the past.
Pigment color is filled into the hygiene cartridge opening. The color reservoir that is contained within the cartridge is designed for one entire regular procedure. Therefore, in most cases a refilling or dipping of the nozzle is not necessary anymore. The system can however still be used in the traditional manner, i.e. a dipping of the device into the color during operation.
Highest precision from the needle drive to the needle tip is ensured through a fine needle nozzle which guides the needles. This needle nozzle is made out of medical plastic (Lexan ® 144R-111 resin).

The needles contained within the hygiene cartridge were optimized - they provide the maximum color insertion whilst ensuring a minimal trauma experience.

All of the consumable supplies are sterilized. For an additional plus factor when it comes to safety, the packaging is carried out in a clean-room with class specification 100.000. In addition, lot tracking is in operation.
